Mont Ivy Preschool will always have a very special place in our hearts. ❤️ My son spent his preschool years here, and when I look back, I realise just how much he learnt and how much he grew during those years. What I loved most about Mont Ivy was the Montessori approach. Learning was never about pressure or simply completing worksheets. Children were given the freedom to explore, discover and learn at their own pace. My son became more confident and curious, and learnt so much — not just academically, but also about communication, responsibility, independence and everyday life. But what made Mont Ivy especially special for me as a parent was the sense of ease and trust. There were no unnecessary formalities or pressure. Even things like PTMs did not feel like a routine, formal parent-teacher meeting that you simply had to attend. We could connect with the teachers and set up a meeting based on our convenience as well as the teacher's availability. It felt much more like an open conversation about my child than a scheduled appointment. And I could openly share my thoughts, concerns, worries and feelings with the teachers. I never felt judged or made to feel that I was doing something wrong as a parent. I felt heard and supported. That gave me something very valuable — peace of mind. I felt relaxed knowing that if I had a concern, I could talk about it. If I was worried about something, I could share it. And if my son was going through something, I knew the teachers would listen. Looking back now, I feel that this kind of environment is something you don't fully appreciate until you experience a different kind of school. Mont Ivy was not just a place where my son learnt. It was a safe, warm and understanding space for both of us. ❤️ I am genuinely grateful for everything the school gave my son during those important early years — and for the comfort and reassurance it gave me as a mother.
